Cookies

Fabliko uses as few cookies as possible: a few to make the site work, and two from Google Analytics to see how Fabliko is used. Below you’ll find exactly which ones, what they’re for and how long they stay.

Functional cookies

These don’t need your consent.

Storage in your browser

If you read a story without an account, your browser keeps what you fill in (fabliko.start and fabliko.guest: first name, avatar, age and the story), so you can carry on where you left off. It stays on your own device until you create an account. Your browser also remembers that a purchase has already been counted (fa-once), so it isn’t counted twice.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics shows us how Fabliko is used: which pages are visited, how many people create an account and how many stories are read. That helps us make Fabliko better.

Our Google Analytics is set up in a privacy-friendly way: we have a data processing agreement with Google, we don’t share data with Google for its own purposes, Google signals and advertising features are off, no exact location or device data is collected, IP addresses are not stored, and data is kept for 2 months. We never send names, email addresses or your child’s details to it.

Why you don’t see a cookie banner

The Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) allows analytics set up like this without consent, and functional cookies don’t need consent either. So we don’t ask, and you can always use Fabliko.

What we don’t use

• No advertising cookies.
• No social media cookies.

Removing or blocking cookies

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you delete fabliko_session, you’ll be logged out.
